Custom events

Including the analytics script on your web pages will provide you with detailed usage statistics for your website. However, sometimes, merely tracking visitors and page views doesn't sufficiently describe user behavior on your website. Did a visitor click the Signup button in the header or at the bottom of the page? Did a user click a link on your page and navigate to another website, and if so, which one?

To track these specific actions, we use custom events, which are triggered when a particular action occurs.

Custom events are a powerful tool for understanding user interactions that standard analytics might not capture. They can be used to track specific actions, like button clicks or form submissions, and can provide insight into how users are interacting with specific features on your website. By using custom events, you can gain a deeper understanding of your users' behavior and use this information to enhance the user experience and optimize your website's performance.
